Overview

AquaTrack is a hydration tracking and reminder app for Android. It was designed to work fully offline: the core experience — setting a hydration goal, logging drinks, receiving reminders, viewing history and streaks — happens entirely on your device and does not require creating an account or connecting to our servers.

This policy is written to comply with Google Play's User Data policy and Families/Content guidelines, and to give you a clear, accurate picture of what does and does not happen with your information.

Information we collect

Information you create in the App (stored locally)

To calculate your personal hydration goal and power features like reminders, streaks and history, AquaTrack may ask you to enter:

• Basic profile details such as age range, weight, gender and activity level
• Your wake and sleep schedule, used to time reminders
• Drink logs — beverage type and volume — and your daily hydration goal
• Achievements, streaks and app preferences (theme, units, reminder frequency)

This information is stored in a local database on your device only. We do not transmit it to ORATEAM, and we do not have a system that receives or stores it on our servers.

Device permissions

AquaTrack may request permissions such as notifications (to send reminders) and, if you enable it, Health Connect access. Each permission is used only for the feature it supports, and can be revoked at any time in your device settings.

Advertising

AquaTrack is free to use and supported by ads served through a third-party advertising network (such as Google AdMob). To deliver and measure ads, the advertising network may automatically collect technical information including your advertising identifier, device and app information, general location derived from IP address, and ad interaction data.

This data is collected and processed by the advertising network under its own privacy policy, not by AquaTrack directly, and is not linked to the hydration or health information you log in the app. You can review or reset your advertising identifier, and opt out of personalized ads, in your Android device settings under Settings → Privacy → Ads.

Health Connect sync (optional)

If you choose to enable Health Connect integration, AquaTrack can write your hydration data to Android's Health Connect, allowing other health and fitness apps you've authorized to read it. This feature is opt-in, entirely under your control, and can be disabled at any time from within Health Connect's app permissions on your device. We do not access data belonging to other apps beyond what is needed to sync hydration entries you log.

• To operate and measure the ads that keep AquaTrack free
• To diagnose crashes and improve app stability and performance

Sharing & disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share the hydration or health data you log in AquaTrack with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Limited technical data may be processed by the service providers below, solely to provide their function:

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and property of ORATEAM, our users or the public.

Data storage & security

Your profile, hydration logs, goals and achievements are stored in a local database on your device, protected by your device's own operating system security (such as screen lock and storage encryption). Because this data is not transmitted to a server we operate, uninstalling AquaTrack or clearing its app storage permanently deletes this data. We recommend keeping regular backups if you rely on your device's built-in backup tools.

Your choices & rights

• Notifications: turn reminders on or off anytime from AquaTrack's settings or your device's system notification settings.
• Ad personalization: opt out of personalized ads or reset your advertising ID from your Android privacy settings.
• Health Connect: revoke AquaTrack's Health Connect permission at any time to stop sharing hydration data.
• Delete your data: clear AquaTrack's app storage or uninstall the app to permanently remove all locally stored data.

Children's privacy

AquaTrack carries a Google Play content rating of 3+, meaning it contains no content unsuitable for a general audience. AquaTrack is not specifically directed at children, does not require account creation, and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. Because hydration and profile data stays on-device, no such information is transmitted to us. If you believe a child has provided personal information in a way that concerns you, please contact us and we will assist in addressing it.

International users

AquaTrack is developed by ORATEAM in Australia. Where third-party services such as our advertising network process technical data as described above, that data may be processed on servers located in other countries, under the privacy policies of those providers.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app, legal requirements, or our practices. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of AquaTrack after a change becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
