1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how MLB Baseball Schedule 2026 ("the App," "we," "us") handles information when you use our Android application. We built this policy to comply with the Google Play Developer Program Policy, including the User Data policy and Families/child-safety requirements where applicable.

The App does not require account creation or sign-in. You can use every core feature — schedules, live scores, and stats — without providing any personal information.

2. Information we collect

Because the App has no login system, we do not collect names, email addresses, or passwords from you directly. The table below summarizes what is collected and by whom.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, or any financial information.

3. How we use information

  • To display accurate, up-to-date schedules, live scores, and statistics.
  • To send the score, schedule, and news notifications you choose to enable.
  • To show ads that keep the App free, and to measure ad performance.
  • To diagnose crashes and improve app performance and reliability.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the information above to build a profile of you outside the App.

4. App permissions

The App requests the following Android permissions, each tied to a specific feature:

PermissionWhy it's needed
Internet accessLoad live schedules, scores, and stats
Network stateDetect connectivity to sync data efficiently
Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS)Send the game and score alerts you opt into

The App does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, SMS, or call logs.

5. Third-party services

The App relies on a small number of third-party service providers to operate:

  • Google Play services — core Android platform services and crash diagnostics.
  • Google AdMob — displays in-app advertising (see Section 6).
  • Push notification infrastructure (e.g., Firebase Cloud Messaging) — delivers alerts to your device using a device-specific token, not your identity.
  • Sports data providers — supply schedule, score, and statistics data displayed in the App.

These providers process data under their own privacy policies. We only share the minimum data needed for them to perform their function.

6. Advertising & Google AdMob

The App is supported by advertising delivered through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect your Advertising ID, general device information, and approximate (non-precise) location to select and measure ads, and it may use this information consistent with Google's own advertising policies.

You can review how Google uses this data, and manage your ad personalization settings, at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. On Android, you can also reset or delete your Advertising ID and opt out of personalized ads under Settings → Privacy → Ads on your device.

7. Data sharing & disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data only with:

  • Service providers listed in Section 5, solely to operate the App;
  • Law enforcement or regulators when required by applicable law; or
  • A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

8. Data retention

In-app preferences (such as favorite teams and notification settings) are stored locally on your device and are removed when you clear app data or uninstall the App. Diagnostic and advertising data collected by Google Play services and AdMob is retained according to Google's own retention schedules.

9. Data security

We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted network connections (HTTPS), to protect data transmitted by the App. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your choices & rights

  • Notifications: Enable or disable alerts at any time in the App's settings or your device's notification settings.
  • Advertising: Opt out of personalized ads or reset your Advertising ID in your Android device settings.
  • Local data: Clear your favorite teams and preferences by clearing the App's data or uninstalling it.
  • Access & deletion requests: Since we hold no account-linked personal data, most requests are resolved by adjusting device settings above. For any other request (e.g., under GDPR, CCPA, or similar law), contact us at the email in Section 14.

11. Children's privacy

MLB Baseball Schedule 2026 is a general-audience sports app and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us at the email below and we will take appropriate action, including deletion where applicable.

12. International data transfers

The App and its service providers, including Google, may process and store data on servers located outside your country of residence. By using the App, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in such locations, consistent with applicable data protection laws.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, our practices, or legal requirements. We will update the "Effective date" above when changes are made, and material changes will be highlighted within the App or on this page.
