1. Overview

Crossover ("Crossover", "we", "us", "our") is an NBA standings, schedule, and statistics app published by Ora Team. This policy is written to comply with Google Play's Developer Program Policies and applicable privacy laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). By using Crossover, you agree to the practices described below.

Crossover does not require you to create an account. You can browse standings, schedules, and stats without providing any personal information.

2. Data we collect

We collect the minimum data needed to run the app and keep it reliable:

CategoryExamplesWhy we collect it
App preferences Favorite team, saved filters, time zone setting, notification toggles Stored on your device (and, if you enable sync, on our servers) so your settings persist between sessions
Device & diagnostic data Device model, OS version, app version, crash logs, general performance data To diagnose crashes, fix bugs, and understand which features are used
Push notification token A token issued by Apple/Google messaging services To deliver score and schedule alerts you've opted into, if enabled
Approximate location (optional) Coarse location derived from your device or IP Only if you allow it, to suggest a local time zone for game start times
Support communications Your email address and message content when you contact support@orateam.net To respond to your question or request

We do not require your name, date of birth, or precise location to use Crossover.

3. Data we don't collect

4. How we use data

5. App permissions

Crossover may request the following device permissions. Each is optional and tied to a specific feature — declining a permission only disables the related feature, not the whole app.

6. Sharing with third parties

We work with a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf, under contract and only for the purposes below:

We do not share your data with data brokers, and we do not sell personal information as defined under the CCPA. We may disclose data if required by law, to protect our legal rights, or in connection with a merger or acquisition, subject to this policy continuing to apply.

7. Data retention & deletion

We retain preference and diagnostic data only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, generally for the life of your app installation plus a limited backup window. If you uninstall Crossover, locally stored preferences are removed from your device immediately, and any associated server-side data is deleted or anonymized within 30 days.

You can request deletion of any data we hold at any time by emailing support@orateam.net with the subject "Delete my data." We will confirm once the request is complete.

8. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — including encryption in transit and access controls on our systems — to protect the data we hold. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep this practice current.

9. Children's privacy

Crossover is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at support@orateam.net and we will delete it.

10. Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, email support@orateam.net. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

11. Predictions & analytics content

Crossover displays win probabilities and performance analytics sourced from third-party sports data providers. This content is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. Crossover is not a sportsbook, does not accept wagers, and does not facilitate real-money gambling of any kind. Nothing in the app should be relied on as financial or betting advice.

12. International users

Crossover is available globally, and your data may be processed on servers located outside your country of residence, including in the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, for such transfers.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Crossover evolves or as laws change. We'll revise the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes, we'll provide notice within the app or by other reasonable means before the change takes effect.
